Perhaps after the residency I'll feel motivated to get back to the blog. Until then, here's something from the safari in December. I didn't realize that leopards spent so much time up in trees. They even take their kills up there to keep them away from other predators.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. At least you warn people you'll be gone. I'm such a slacker on the blog.
Good to go back and see what you've been up to- sorry I missed it. The post about your mom is sweet- and the anxiety of getting nowhere on the writing. I'm learning to ride that one a bit better myself, knowing it will eventually pass. And the attack, geez, how awful you must have felt! I've been knocked in the head by a stranger on the street, and spit at (always drunk men), and it just really makes you feel vulnerable and unprepared. Sorry that happened. See you soon.
